in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. By the end of 200
2, a
huge road network with 82,882 kilometers of highway has been built up in
Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. In 2003, Xinjiang will invest 10 billion yuan
(about 1.2 billion US dollars) in the construction of transport infrastructure
